Issuance, the Los Angeles, California-based investment banking services firm for blockchain, said it acquired CrowdfundX, the marketing firm focused on Regulation A+ listings, which target small companies. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Helix, the Greenwood Village, Colorado-based cannabis industry services company, said it acquired Americanx International Exchange, a cannabis trading platform using blockchain. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Embleema, the New York City-based healthcare firm using blockchain, said it raised USD 3.7m in a Series A led by Pharmagest, the pharmacy software developer, and Techstars.
NXM Labs, the San Francisco, California-based cybersecurity firm using blockchain and machine learning, said it raised USD 5.5m in a pre-Series A from unidentified venture capital firms.
BLOCKNETS, the Alpharetta, Georgia-based logistical supply chain services firm using blockchain, said it promoted Robert Betts to CEO.
Hedera Hashgraph, the San Francisco, California-based blockchain company, said it hired Oracle’s Lionel Chocron as chief product officer.
